La Isla Cevicheria is a family-owned Mexican seafood Restaurant. serving all parts of San Diego with their brick and mortar restaurant in the heart of Temecula. They take pride to take their prized family traditional recipes and give them a modern twist. All orders are made fresh and the famous ceviche is prepared in small batches so that every customer can taste the “off the boat” experience. All of their ingredients are ethically sourced from local businesses.

Get to know the family behind the food

La Isla Cevicheria is owned and operated by Monica, Ruffo, and their daughter Jessica. A family company who stand behind every meal they serve and find inspiration through their family roots. It all began when Monica, a loving mother of four, began feeling pulled to open up her own Cevicheria at the end of 2009 when they tragically entered a time of financial hardship. Feeling the heat of life, she knew she had to do something to support her family and knew her family famed Ceviche was the key. It was a recipe that had been passed down generation to generations of baja coastal cooks dating back to the 1930’s, this recipe has been tweaked and perfected over the years and each time winning the love and attention of family members.

Mid 2010, Monica and her husband Ruffo launched La Isla Ceviche, and their journey began.

La Isla Cevicheria charming restaurant is headquartered in Temecula, CA at Vail Headquarters. Vail Headquarters has been in the heart of Temecula since 1867 and is now making it a destination for specialty restaurants, boutique stores, and special events. Vail Headquarters and La Isla Cevicheria partner together to bring the community together by everyone who walks in a taste of our local heritage.
